Monarch relocates Mecklenburg office to Charlotte East
Monarch, a statewide nonprofit that provides support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance abuse challenges, has announced an office relocation and expansion in Charlotte. The Stanly County-based organization, which serves more than 55 North Carolina counties, has moved its Mecklenburg offices from the Park/Woodlawn district to Charlotte East. The new address is 5700 Executive Center Dr., Suite 110; Charlotte, NC 28212.
The move was spawned by Monarch's need for additional space to accommodate growth in demand for the organization’s behavioral health services.
"This expansion is attributed to the outstanding work that our staff has conducted to provide quality services to the people we support in Mecklenburg County," said Monarch’s Chief Clinical Officer Daniel Brown, MSW, LCSW. “The demand for behavioral health services has steadily increased throughout our region and this relocation will help us to continue to meet those important needs.”
Monarch offers a variety of comprehensive behavioral health services, psychiatric assessments, medication management and other related-support services in Anson, Bladen, Columbus, Cabarrus, Davidson, Guilford, Harnett, Lee, Mecklenburg, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Rowan, Scotland, Stanly and Union counties. In Mecklenburg County, Monarch currently offers:
• Outpatient Therapy and Psychiatric
Services (children and adults)
• Intensive In-Home Services (ages 5-21)
• Community Support Team (adults only)
• Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) (adults only)
• Residential Services (adults only)
• Targeted Case Management
The new office in the Charlotte East Office Community is well located on Executive Center Drive and is known for ease of accessibility. With multiple bus stops along Executive Center Drive and many of the major streets leading to the office, people supported and visitors have great access to public transportation, Brown said. The location is also very accessible to Uptown Charlotte via Independence Boulevard and I-485 via Albemarle Road.
