Todd Posey

todd posey 150 225Todd Posey is the President of Operations for Outpatient Services in the Sandhills region. He joined Monarch in August 2016 with 20 years of behavioral health experience in North Carolina and Virginia.

Posey graduated with a Master of Education degree in counseling from Virginia State University and went on to earn a graduate certificate in substance abuse counseling from East Carolina University. He is also a licensed professional counselor supervisor (LPCS), licensed clinical addictions specialist (LCAS), and a certified clinical supervisor (CCS).

Posey has clinical expertise in trauma and trauma related issues, Motivational Interviewing, crisis services (Facility-Based Crisis, Non-hospital Medical Detoxification), Substance Use Disorders, clinical supervision of mental health and substance abuse treatment services, child and adolescent treatment, and outpatient services.

During his career, Posey has provided and supervised outpatient, community based, and residential treatment services addressing the needs of people of all ages who are dealing with mental health and substance use issues. His current role at Monarch focuses on ensuring the delivery of high quality outpatient services while cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with community stakeholders, business partners, and other healthcare agencies.

Posey currently lives in Alamance County, N.C.
