Monarch, The Arc of Stanly to host “Preparing for The Future” session June 18
Monarch and The Arc of Stanly County invite you and your family to join us and industry experts for “Preparing for the Future: Planned Giving and End of Life Planning,” a discussion about the future of your family member.
The forum will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18 at the Stanly Community College Small Business Center, 143 N. Second St., Albemarle. Information will be provided to help families identify the most appropriate methods to help their loved ones to plan for their financial future, protect their benefits and ensure they receive the same dignity we all deserve at the end of life.
Presenters for the session will include:
Allison Grove, of Special Considerations, an organization created specifically to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their end of life planning, will present. Their comprehensive program ensures that every individual has the dignified end of life they deserve while still protecting their government benefits.
Elizabeth Hobson, of Consolidated Planning, which specializes in helping families protect their assets, income and lifestyle, will also serve as a guest speaker. The company’s Special Needs Planning Division works to help families organize their financial world, while exploring and establishing benefits which their family may qualify for now, and through their loved one's transition into adulthood.
