N&N: Open Access Reaches New Milestones
Over the course of the last six months, Monarch’s Behavioral Health division has served an average of 2,366 people per month in 18 Open Access assessment sites across the state.
In February, with the hard work and dedication of our staff, we achieved the best satisfaction scores we have seen in the last 12 months. Almost 90 percent of people agreed that their wait time in Open Access was satisfactory to them, about a 9 percentage point improvement from our lowest score in the last 12 months. Most compelling, 98 percent of people agreed they were treated with courtesy and respect by Monarch staff and 97.5 percent of people agreed they would refer a family member or friend to Monarch. The average wait time for someone once they walked through our door stood at just 66 minutes.
By contrast, in North Carolina and across the nation, the wait time for the first behavioral health appointment can extend up to 4-12 weeks.
