N&N: Mecklenburg Residential Program Participants Join During the Holidays

More than 35 people supported in Monarch’s Mecklenburg residential program were invited to a holiday party hosted by the area’s behavioral specialists on Dec. 18.

Food, games, dancing and prizes were part of the celebration hosted for residents who live in 10 apartments, homes or condos operated by Monarch in Charlotte. Someone from each residential area was represented, and Shirla Steele, the event’s organizer said “everybody had such a great time and were so happy to be able to get out and see people they hadn’t seen in a while.”

Robert “Malik” Sibley, peer support specialist at Monarch in Mecklenburg, took photos of the event which can be seen here.
