N&N: Monarch Celebrates Opening of Lincoln Wellness Center
Last month, the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Partners Behavioral Health Management's new Lincoln Wellness Center.
The center brings together several mental health providers and services under one umbrella, including Monarch, Alexander Youth Network, Phoenix Counseling Center and Support Incorporated, to offer people in Lincoln County access to quality care.
Monarch is one of the partners at the new center and will be providing a key service through our Open Access Model. According to Clinical Operations Director Lyndril Leonard, it offers patients the help they need in their local community when they need it without waiting for appointments.
“Open access is a treatment model that allows individuals in the community to walk in for the very first time without having a scheduled appointment,” Leonard said. “They can expect to be (taken into) the system. They will see a licensed clinician and they will receive a comprehensive clinical assessment where they are diagnosed.”
