N&N: The Arc of Stanly, Monarch host advocacy, education forums for parents of students with disabilities

Stanly County Community Foundation awards grant to assist, support Albemarle families4-advocacy-forum

Monarch and the Arc of Stanly will host a series of forums for parents of Stanly County students who have individualized education plans (IEP). To help parents and families better understand and navigate the process, Monarch and The Arc of Stanly were recently awarded a grant of $1,000 from the Stanly County Community Foundation to host four advocacy and education forums for parents and families of students with disabilities and special needs in the Stanly County School system.
