Trick-or-Treaters invade Pee Dee Avenue

Cortney Burris and Elizabeth BrysonDozens of little goblins, tiny witches and even a few ninjas were among those sighted haunting the halls of Monarch’s administrative offices at 350 Pee Dee Ave. Approximately 100 students from Central Elementary School dressed in their festive Halloween finest arrived for a little trick-or-treating warm up before the big event later the night of Oct. 31.

Monarch employees gladly handed out an assortment of candy to the students. This is the second year Monarch hosted the students from the area elementary school, located on Third Street in Albemarle.
