DHHS rolls out new initiative to improve care for those with mental illness

"If you don't have a means to communicate, a lot of times there's duplication, a lot of times, things that have worked in the past are not tried," said Jim Southern, Monarch's Regional Director. The plan will be shared with family members and other care providers. "So it's going to give us an opportunity to have a snap shot of that individual that was created by that individual in team with professionals to respond to a crisis," said Southern.
