RALEIGH, N.C. — A panel charged with giving advice to Gov. Pat McCrory for his expected overhaul proposal for North Carolina's Medicaid system includes a retired hospital executive who worked earlier this year in the governor's administration.
McCrory announced Friday the appointments to the Medicaid Reform Advisory Group created by the legislature. The commission is supposed to hold a public forum to take input and ensure "transparency" in the proposal process. Lawmakers want any plan by March 17.
