Dr. Sharyn Comeau
Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs
As Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs, Dr. Sharyn Comeau is responsible for providing medical leadership at the community and state level, as well as internally at Monarch. As part of Monarch’s strategic plan, she also helps the organization foster positive relationships with local stakeholders, legislators, potential donors, and physician groups as it relates to behavioral health services.
Dr. Comeau has been practicing medicine for more than 21 years and has been with Monarch since January 2014. She specializes in treating people of all ages with mental health challenges.
Dr. Comeau is certified by the American Board of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, and completed her medical training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University and in general psychiatry at the University of Connecticut/Institute of Living. In addition, Dr. Comeau holds a medical degree from Ross University, a Master of Arts from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from Pace University.
