Daniel earned a Bachelors’ degree in Psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a Master of Social Work degree from UNC-Charlotte.
He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina and has been working in the field of mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities his entire career. He has worked in various capacities at different levels of the service delivery system including a group home, inpatient hospital setting, area program, and community based provider organization. Daniel has been involved with other community and social service organizations including Stanly Community College Human Services Advisory Board, Group Homes for the Autistic Human Rights Committee, New Hope Optimist Club, UNC Charlotte Social Work Field Advisory Board, and the Butterfly House Child Advocacy Center Advisory Council. Daniel lives in Albemarle with his wife Christy and their two children, Julia and Ellen.
