How to Access Supports/Services

Our system to access supports/services in North Carolina can be confusing for anyone to navigate. Most supports/services must be authorized and approved through an LME (Local Management Entity). LMEs are what the state uses to administer services to a certain geographic area. The LME also provides screening, triage, and referral services to people with Medicaid. Often, the supports/services to be provided must be authorized by either an LME or a state funded vendor such as Value Options.

Behavioral Health Services

Vocational Services

If you are looking for vocational services please call 866-272-7826. If you are approved for services through Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), your local VR will have to make a referral to use in order for us to serve you.
