The Dream Revolution

It’s all about what we call the Dream Revolution – about creating a world where all children and adults with behavioral or mental disabilities can live in peace with their neighbors and understand that everyone has a dream and deserves the right to pursue that dream. As we continue our efforts, we hope to foster a better understanding of the people we support. By providing connections within the community and personalized support, Monarch is working to make the Dream Revolution a reality. After all, everybody dreams.

The Monarch Dream

At Monarch, we believe that each person is a unique individual with a personal dream. For many years, people with mental illness and substance abuse issues have lacked the help they needed to realize those dreams. They faced obstacles at every turn. The people at Monarch believe an illness should not determine a person’s place in their community. We help people direct their lives and reach their dreams. We are here to listen to each person, to help them create a life that is valuable and meaningful to them. And a future worth fighting for. Monarch is a nonprofit organization supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and substance abuse issues. We work with individuals and their families to overcome barriers to reaching their dreams. Everyone is welcome as part of the Monarch family – we are here to help people of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds. Our dream is your dream. For some that may be to finish school. Others may need help battling depression, getting through a difficult time, or coping with stress. We believe in recovery and a better life for everyone in the communities where we live. At Monarch, our dream is to see the people we support live out their dreams. We are here to make it happen, whatever it takes.

The Monarch Family

You are family to us. We define the Monarch Family as the people we support, their families and the people who work for Monarch. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where we are able to work in a more meaningful way with each person. Relationships are a priority. The people we support are involved in the process of selecting Monarch staff who will work with them and their families. We understand that the best service is provided within a positive, nurturing relationship. We are passionate with purpose. We learn from the people we serve, their families and each other. We are progressive and work hard to exceed industry standards. At Monarch, we hire experienced professionals and people who share our passion and purpose.
